Who we are looking for?  

We are looking for a passionate, energetic and aspirational individuals to lead our support team within our 24/7 Hub.  As a Hub Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operational delivery of support and housing management services to young people living within their own home.  You will supervise a team of frontline Support Workers delivering a person centred tailored support package. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational demands of the service are met inline with contractual requirements and ensuring that every young person is positively progressing through their journey with us. You, alongside the support Workers, will be responsible for maintaining the day to day running of the property whilst positively engaging the young person in their home environment. This is a fast paced, reactive environment where energy, initiative and resilience is vital.

The ideal applicant should be patient and communicate well, have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations and be confident when dealing with behaviours that challenge.  The applicant must be flexible, open to change, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others including their direct reports.

You will have at least one year’s professional experience of working with Young People OR at least three years experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting, as well as demonstrable experience of support planning and risk assessment. You will have a good understanding of issues vulnerable adults and young people face with excellent inter-personal skills and a strong desire to support staff and engage with individuals to deliver positive outcomes in an exciting but challenging environment.  Previous experience of supervising individuals and previous experience of managing staff is essential.

You must also be able to establish and maintain constructive relationships with a wide range of people including providers in external agencies. Knowledge of issues surrounding alcohol and substance misuse and complex needs   Knowledge of the welfare benefits system, as well as knowledge and understanding of housing provision are desirable criteria. 

 A Full Driving License and access to vehicle is essential as there may be required to travel to other areas of Lincolnshire in order to meet the service demands.  

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. 

This role involves working on a rota basis, and you must be able to work shifts on a rolling 3-week rota
