About the role:

We are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the Internal Repairs Team (IRT) to enhance the delivery of the repair and maintenance function of the business and to provide excellent customer care.

 

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Providing updates on progress and dealing with any queries arising from works undertaken or planned by the IRT

· Acting as the main point of contact for enquiries from operatives working on site

· Ensuring the upkeep of management systems, where all works completed are accurately recorded

· Monitoring the progress of operative’s daily workloads, rescheduling as necessary

· Ordering and organising the delivery of plant and materials including the management of van stock replenishment

· Arranging specialist contractors and sub-contractors where necessary

· Checking and preparing invoices for authorised payment

 

 

What we’re looking for:

· Experience of working within a housing maintenance / building environment or related field

· Experience of arranging and planning works or services to strict deadlines

· Experience of working within a customer facing environment

· Knowledge of building terminology, domestic repairs and basic domestic amenities

· The ability to follow procedures and maintain clear, concise records and to give clear instructions

· Proven ability to organise and prioritise own workload

· The ability to work as part of a busy and diverse team

· High level of computer literacy

· Confident when dealing with people, sometimes in difficult situations
