Greenacre Recruitment are Recruiting a Permanent Head of Asset Management for Cornwall Housing.

 

This role will be a key part of the Property Services & Assets function to deliver meaningful and positive change to tenants, staff, and wider stakeholders. Historically, the service delivery levels have not been satisfactory, the tenants are not receiving a modern service, and this has led to low confidence amongst the delivery teams and closing a circle of frustration for all stakeholders.

The Organisation

Cornwall Housing is an ALMO managing circa 10,500 properties across the County as part of the Corserv Group.  Corserv companies provide essential public services and jobs on behalf of Cornwall Council and partner organisations.

What will you do in the role?

  • Develop an effective Asset Management Strategy, working with the Council and other stakeholders to ensure asset information is kept up to date, is relevant and guides the use of Capital and Revenue resources in the most efficient way
  • Develop and deliver the HRA capital and revenue budgets on behalf of CHL, ensure that all planned and cyclical maintenance and operational delivery objectives of the business are being met and compliant with Business Plan targets and KPI’s.
  • Prepare and deliver the Asset Management Strategy, the Carbon Neutral Strategy and Sustainability Strategies, developing annual budgets, monitoring expenditure and regularly reporting on performance.
  • Be the lead contact and company expert on all asset management matters including CHL policies and procedures, standards and regulatory bodies and HSE.
  • Monitor the performance of approved contractors, ensuring quality standards are met and contract compliance is achieved.
