Salary: £32,992 pa 

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester  

Contract: Permanent, Full Time   

Hours of work 35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager (Development) to work as part of the development team. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of a range of development projects including individual property acquisitions to new build development schemes ensuring high quality services to all customers. 

 

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:  

  • In conjunction with Project Managers, assist in progressing the delivery of development projects  

  • Management of complex and important scheme information, monitored by the responsible officer  

  • Working alongside Project Managers, to produce accurate reports including scheme outputs, budgets and risks  

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with Local Authorities, developers and other stakeholders in conjunction with other members of the development team  

  • Liaison with consultants to assist in the delivery of development projects  

  • Develop a clear understanding of the project appraisal systems and development/sales procedures to ensure the maintenance of comprehensive records and audit trails  

  • Contribute towards the review and improvement of development and sales procedures and policies 

  • Through a comprehensive training package, develop a clear understanding of cash planning and budgets being applied to development projects  

 

The successful candidate will have an interest in new build development for an RP, along with a desire to learn on-the-job (alongside a full comprehensive package of training in housing development). Ideally, you’ll hold a Construction or property-related degree and be education / have experience of Project Management principles. We’re looking for someone with good report writing and excellent numerical and analytical skills.
