Do you have broad commercial and experience and in depth experience in the delivery of major residential projects?

Clarion Housing Group is a major housing developer with the financial strength, capacity, skills and expertise to deliver a wide range of housebuilding and regeneration schemes. Our target is to build 50,000 new homes over the next 10 years as one of the country's top 5 house builders.

In order to achieve our goal we are expanding our team and looking for ambitious and dedicated Delivery Commercial Manager to join us on our journey.

About the role

As Delivery Commercial Manager, you'll be responsible for the commercial and contractual element of individual projects, working as part of a wider team, building good relationships with the site and contractor, colleagues and other stakeholders, administering all aspects of the contract and ensuring the successful delivery of a project.

Other key accountabilities will include:-

  • Managing multiple projects across a region to ensure all aspects of commercial delivery ensuring compliance on matters of contract, governance, planning and all statutory requirements.
  • Managing the day to day commercial and contractual aspects of a construction contract.
  • Ensuring that regular accurate valuations are undertaken as per the contract and relevant regulations.
  • Take the lead on on the commercial aspects of the project to ensure this is carried out correctly in accordance with the contract and contractual law.

About you

We're seeking a strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and set up contracts with suppliers, contractors and consultants. You'll have a understanding of the state of the current construction market as well as a detailed understanding of all types of build contractor for administration purposes including; JCT, NEC or similar. You'll be degree educated with extensive procurement and commercial experience.
