Full Time – 37 hours per week

This is an important role in which you will:

· Support the compliance manager and contribute to policy and procedure setting, specification and process reviews and development of the overall service offer, ensuring that all programmes remain fully compliant at all stages.

· Proactively pursue compliance processes improvements and use audit inspections, business intelligence data and reporting to drive improvements.

· Manage processes and work activities to ensure assets always remain safe and comply with legislative and corporate policy requirements.

· Implement service delivery improvements and support the management team in the effective and timely reporting of audit results against standards.

 

 

To be successful in this role you will:

· Hold a level 4 Gas Safety Management in Social Housing, equivalent, or willing to work towards

· Relevant people management & leadership experience commensurate with the role

· Have a IOSH Managing Safely qualification or demonstratable relevant experience of managing programmes or contracts to ensure safe working practices.

· Possess a good knowledge of gas statutory compliance and gas management requirements in housing maintenance

· Extensive experience of developing, implementing management reporting tools / dashboards and key performance indicators.

· Experience working with compliance data and understanding of the importance of robust and accurate data to ensure compliance.

· Strong knowledge of all health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance and construction projects including gas safety management.

· A sound knowledge relating to the management of gas safety and management controls.

· Experience of gas servicing programmes with emphasis on quality and durability of maintenance and improvements.

· High level of knowledge of property management.

· Experience of managing contractors and programmes to ensure delivery is on time, to budget and to a specified standard

· Excellent customer service skills and able to communicate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

We have an opportunity for a Gas Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team, the Compliance Lead (Gas) will take responsibility for delivering a highly professional service that actively manages gas safety that ensures assets across the Torus property portfolio remain compliant with all statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements. Excellent knowledge of gas management systems and the continual development of the asset database and records will be expected to ensure full compliance.

 

The post will be based in Warrington but travel to our other locations will be required.
