Service Manager – Blackbourne View, Ixworth
£29,977 - £31,555 FTC - 12 months
37 hours per week; Monday - Friday
After 12 months, hours to be reduced to 30 hours per week (£24,305 - 25,585)

Blackbourne View are recruiting for a new Service Manager to join the team!
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational day to day management of the service. You will lead the team in achieving and where possible improving the CQC rating, whilst ensuring the delivery of the highest quality person-centered care.
The Role:
As part of the role, you will…
- be the Registered Manager for CQC
- ensure compliance with best practice, legislation, Orwell policies, Safeguarding frameworks and CQC regulations
- monitor the commercial performance of the service and ensure the service operatives effectively within agreed budgetary parameters
- ensure the highest quality person-centered care is delivered and ensure the car team receive specified training to delivery and safely and effectively
- ensure that all statutory safeguarding regulations are adhered to
About you:
Alongside experience of leading, developing and supporting a team, our ideal candidate will be able to effectively multi-task, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and identify important and urgent tasks.
You will have proven experience of working with older persons, people living with dementia and end of life care.
Our ideal candidate will also:
- hold Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care
- hold a Leadership qualification or willingness to gain a qualification in the Orwell Academy
- have proven experience of CQC inspections and managing a care service
- have proven working knowledge of risk and needs management and safeguarding legislation and good practice
- have knowledge of health and social care legislation
- have knowledge of dementia care, end of life care and older person care
