Neighbourhood Officer 

Salary range: £26,986 -£31,776 [based on experience] 

Type: Permanent 

Hours: 37 hours 

Work pattern: Monday to Friday  

More than one permanent position with administration bases in: Location: Coventry, Birmingham and Worcester – please specify preference when applying.

Additional role in Hereford, 37 hours on six months fixed term contract, which may extend. 

All roles are hybrid and agile, with a mix of home/remote and on-site/in-person working.

About you: 

We are looking for housing professionals with housing management experience. A clean driving licence and use of a personal vehicle. You must be IT literate and able to record data accurately and methodically. You will have excellent communication skills to tackle difficult issues, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have organisational skills with the ability to work without close supervision. 

 

You will be responsible for:  

  • Overseeing patch-based, tenancy management and estate issues.  
  • Dealing with anti-social behaviour from low level to serious cases and being actively involved in multi-agency work to resolve issues around people and place.  
  • Dealing with sensitive safeguarding matters and casework.  
  • Manage starter tenancies and the relationship with our new tenants.  
  • Carrying out regular block and estate inspections.  
  • Taking handover of new build properties.  
  • Conducting tenancy reviews for all properties within the allocated patch  
  • Reviewing service charges and depreciation and monitoring standards of service.
