Location: Corsica Street/ Croydon/ Borehamwood

Hours: Part-Time - 23.5 per week

Contract Type: Secondment/Fixed Term Contract until April 2023

We're recruiting a Property Services Project Officer to join our Strategic Repairs team on a fixed term basis. We'll look to you to project manage and co-ordinate the delivery of high quality, compliant projects and procurement projects. You'll work with the Property Services Project Managers and the Senior Property Services Manager to deliver all Property Services, Planned Investment and Environmental Services procurement projects in line with the 18 month forecast departmental programmes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Leading with minimal supervision on managing KPI Priority 2 procurement projects
  • Leading with minimal supervision on delivering designated projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Tracking designated project status and mitigate issues and risks throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring conflicting demands are addressed and projects are delivered on time
  • Creating and maintain detailed project documents

To be successful, you'll need a Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent project management qualification.

You'll have demonstrable experience of managing and/or assisting with procurement projects and contracts and will have experience of working at a senior administrative, project management or major change project level. Excellent communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail are also essential for the role.
