We’re looking for a Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator who's passionate about making a difference to people’s lives. You’ll be delivering local wellbeing activities and projects for residents/participants. As Optivo’s Community Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to devise, plan and deliver an annual programme of residents’/participants’ personal development, health & wellbeing support activities and projects.

You’ll ensure activities contribute effectively to achieving measureable impact for participants in health & wellbeing progressions, outputs and positive outcomes. Within the role you’ll also be responsible for overseeing activity by sessional staff, trainers, community volunteers and project participants.

This position is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months.  Working 36 hours per week, we can offer a hybrid working arrangement allowing you to split your time between working from our offices in Croydon and from home.  You would also be required to travel around the London area.

What you’ll need
You’ll ideally hold a relevant professional qualification in employment support, community development, community health service delivery, youth work/young persons’ services, health care provision or relevant work based experience. You’ll be experienced in supervising volunteers and project participants and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

In addition, you’ll develop and work in local project partnerships with other agencies/organisations including contracted co-workers/sessional workers.
