About the role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Oversight Manager to join our award-winning business. The Portfolio Oversight Manager reports directly to the Head of Strategy Implementation and is responsible for managing Anchor’s roadmap for change and robustly managing the optimisation of project portfolio performance.

 

Experience:

 

  • 5+ years working in project management
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges

 

Knowledge:

 

Practical/technical knowledge:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management
  • Experience of implementing and managing robust and consistent project management processes
  • Ability to coordinate and analyse multiple data sets and present them coherently

 

Planning and organising:

  • Excellent planning principles
  • Experience in leading change, managing conflicts and changing priorities
  • Strong budget planning, financial management, scheduling and resource management skills

 

Communicating & influencing skills:

  • Must have strong interpersonal, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information succinctly, coherently and in a visually engaging manner
  • Comfortable presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Ability to set and agree standards, roles, and responsibilities
