South East London | Hybrid

Hexagon is an innovative and responsive housing association working in partnership with a range of local authorities to meet housing needs across Southeast London. With a turnover of £40m and 120 staff, Hexagon is continually improving the quality and range of our affordable homes and services.

As an organization, we are concerned with people, their homes, and communities. We make good quality, affordable housing, and services available to people in the local areas we serve, and work to extend opportunities and improve the neighborhoods they live in.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of Property Services is a key member of our leadership team.  You will ensure that customer focused, and cost-effective services are provided across responsive repairs, stock investment, and strategic asset management programs; lead the development of the Sustainability Strategy and Asset Management Strategy; develop and implement an approach to procurement that provides value for money across all repairs and maintenance activities; and ensure compliance with our regulatory and legislative requirements.

A collaborative approach is important for this role as you will be providing advice, support, and guidance with the aim of providing seamless customer service across all property services teams.  With a relevant professional or degree level qualification, you will bring experience of transforming and successfully managing substantial property services and repairs and maintenance contracts; a good understanding of property legislation/regulations and sustainability in the built environment; and significant experience of managing and developing teams.  You will also be an effective leader with good interpersonal skills and a positive “can do” attitude.

This newly created role presents a brilliant opportunity to further your career with a dynamic company that values its staff and provides a work environment that is built on flexibility, empowerment, and a commitment to support you to be the best that you possibly can. If you have experience in a regulated sector, want to work with a fantastic team, and feel proud of the contribution that you make each day, then we very much want to hear from you.
