Location: Hybrid/Harlow Hospital, Essex
Hours: 36 per week
Contract Type: Permanent

If you are a housing officer or work in private lettings and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the role for you.

We're looking for a confident customer focused property and tenancy management specialist to join a small busy team looking after NHS Keyworker and Market Rent properties with a focus on Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

You'll work flexibly between home and our NHS site in Harlow, Essex with travel to other sites as required.

What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will ensure we optimise the customer experience whilst making sure our schemes are safe well-maintained spaces that tenants want to live in. The role involves all aspects of lettings, tenancy management and block management including some HMO units.

We're facing a period of change with the pending Renters Reform Bill, services coming in house and major works ongoing at a number of sites, it is an exciting time to be joining the Private Rent Team.

You'll need to be professional and compassionate, some of our NHS tenants will be facing a new job and new home, others may be living in a new country for the first time. The successful candidate will need to build effective working relationships across Clarion and with other stakeholders including NHS Trusts.

You'll be proactive and creative in finding solutions as these properties sit outside many of the main business processes, which can be a challenge but also presents an opportunity to identify smarter ways of working that drive business efficiencies and improve the customer experience.

What you'll need

We're looking for a self-motivated independent candidate who can work on their own but is also a strong team player. You'll need to be flexible and adaptable, as a small team, we support and cover each other during leave and during peak periods of demand.

We need a good communicator who is comfortable talking to letting agents about marketing or talking to the NHS about our contract and talking to tenants in shared accommodation about the 'washing up'!

You'll use your experience of property and tenancy management to make on the ground decisions where necessary, ensuring that policies and procedures are following and that Clarion's obligations as Landlord are delivered and risks are managed.

If this sounds like a match to your skillset, we look forward to hearing from you.

What you can expect from us

Here at Clarion we are dedicated to rewarding hard work, commitment, and providing benefits that support you and your lifestyle. As standard we offer;-

  • Competitive salaries that are benchmarked regularly against current market rates
  • Initial 25 Days annual leave (plus bank holiday), increasing to 30 days after 3 years' service.
  • A flexible benefit scheme tailored to you, inclusive of healthcare options, dental insurance, restaurant card and cycle to work along with 1% of your salary to spend on whichever approved benefit you like!
  • Matched pension contributions of up to 7.5% of your salary with generous life assurance
  • Flexible and agile working for the majority of our employees
  • Company Bonus Scheme
  • Holiday trading scheme allowing you to buy and sell leave

Closing Date: Tuesday 31st October 2023 at midnight.
