Hours - 35 hours (plus 5 hours paid lunch breaks)

Location - Edmund House, Birmingham (hybrid working 2 day per week from the Birmingham office)

Salary - £36,842 per annum

We're seeking an exceptional People Operations Team Leader to drive excellence and innovation in all things people related.

Your Role

As our People Operations Team Leader, you'll oversee and elevate our first-line support, ensuring it aligns with best practices and Nacro values. You'll manage a dedicated People Coordination team, creating a seamless and supportive experience for employees from onboarding to departure. This role isn't just about managing processes; it's about shaping the way we engage with our people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic team in providing exceptional first-line support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Enhance the employee experience by ensuring smooth processes throughout their journey at Nacro.
  • Spearhead the pay review process and drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Policy Owners to keep policies in line with legal requirements and Nacro values.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring effective benefits delivery.
  • Facilitate the growth of our benefits offering through innovative thinking and collaboration.
  • Lead the review of people policies and processes to maintain a supportive environment. 

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end administrative and advisory people operations services.
  • Expertise in analysing and reporting people data to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HR systems management and customisation for organisational needs.
  • Proven track record of developing and communicating progressive and inclusive people policies.
  • Skill in managing diverse stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and people management skills.
  • Resilience in ambiguous situations, with a penchant for sound decision-making.
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, neutrality, and sensitivity.
