Building Surveyor
Job type – Permanent/Full-time
Salary - £36,842 per annum
Hours - 35 hours per week (+ 5 hours paid lunch) 9am- 5pm
Location – Home based.
Roles- x 2
1 x post to cover -Lincolnshire/East & South Midlands.
1 x post to cover -West Mids./Northwest/Staffs &Wales
A full driving licence and access to a car will be required for this role as travel will be required.

Who are we looking for?
We are searching for a Building Surveyor to work across a diverse property portfolio.
To be responsible for the building surveying function for all Nacro’s properties in a designated region of the country and work as part of the national property team which repairs and maintains Nacro’s property portfolio of owned and leased accommodation ensuring that it is maintained to a high standard and complies with the relevant statutory and regulatory standards.
QUALICATIONS REQUIRED: A technical qualification, in building studies or a related subject, to a minimum level of HNC/HND or equivalent appropriate experience.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
. To carry out property inspections, diagnosing repairs and preparing works specifications, for responsive repairs, (including damp mould and condensation, void works, fire safety works, cyclical and planned maintenance, obtaining quotes and tenders for repair jobs to ensure best value is achieved.
· Inspect and prepare schedule of works for potential and newly acquired residential and commercial properties, ensuring works are completed to a good standard and on target and budget.
Carry out a sample of post repair inspections, including high value works to ensure they are completed to a high standard and holding contractors to account for inadequate or poor performance.
DBS check will be required for this role
