Income Team Leader - Housing 

£35,286 per annum 

Burton Upon Trent – Hybrid Working 

Full Time, Permanent 

We have an opportunity for an Income Team Leader to join us to work closely with our Income Manager and be responsible for overseeing income collection across general rented properties, current former tenancy arrears and all sub account monies owed.  

You will be required to provide support & guidance for the team in dealing with day to day and complex cases ensuring appropriate action is taken in line with our desire of sustaining tenancies and reducing turnover.   

You will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer services in a challenging environment, whilst also supporting the team to have direct and professional conversations regarding any enforcement action. 

You will therefore need: 

• CIH Level 4, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in a management role for a housing provider. 

   

  5 GCSE, including maths and English - C and above 

   

  Proven ability of Dynamics/housing Management system (such as Orchard or Active H) 

   

  Worked within a housing and customer facing environment. 

   

  Ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial people both verbally and in writing 

   

  Preferably worked in the social housing sector and understand the issues affecting the sector 

   

  Staff management experience 

   

  The ability to produce timely and accurate information. 

   

  Good IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft packages including Dynamics 365, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. 

   

  Full valid driving licence and use of a vehicle.
