Alongside a corporate leadership role as part of the Council’s executive management team, you will also be the strategic lead for many of our people-focused services. An in-house Housing service for over 5,000 homes is a major element, alongside Environment & Regulation and Community Safety. Our emphasis is on modernising our approach, and working to ensure we are better informed on the diversity of customer need, to deliver more effective and tailored services. While efficiency will always be a focus, the fundamental driver behind our transformation strategy is to enhance what we do for our community. It’s an opportunity that will suit someone with a sound grasp of the strategic housing agenda; who understands the dynamics and potential of partnership working; and who understands how to maximise the potential of systems and people to deliver the best for customers.
