Director of Property & Places

Campbell Tickell are proud to be recruiting for the role of a Director of Property and Places at YMCA St. Paul’s Group.

YMCA St Paul's Group is a dynamic and forward-thinking charity and housing association with a vision of places where young people thrive and communities flourish.

As one of the largest providers of accommodation for homeless people in London, alongside a wide range of community services, we have a rich history spanning over 150 years of dedication to transforming communities, and creating supportive environments where everyone can achieve their potential.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our Executive Team as the Director of Property & Places. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and strategic direction of our assets, ensuring they become more than just properties but safe and welcoming places.

As the Director of Property & Places, you will provide visionary leadership for the Property & Places team, ensuring that the property and assets agenda is aligned with the overall mission and goals of the Group. The role involves the effective management of our diverse portfolio across 45 sites, which include c.1,250 units of supported housing as well as community spaces and recreational facilities, and ensuring all properties comply with all relevant regulation, standards, and health and safety requirements as well as our psychological informed environment expectations.

Your well-honed leadership skills will be key for fostering effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders - we seek a leader who can embody the caring and compassionate ethos that animates our organisation, and your values will be as important as your technical skills. Your experience in a senior property role may have been gained in the social housing sector, or in a related regulated environment involving residential accommodation, for example the health or higher education sectors etc.

YMCA St Paul's Group is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’d like to learn more about, then please contact Isabella Ajilore at Campbell Tickell to arrange a conversation in more detail at

Role closes: 10am, Thursday 29th February 2024
