We are looking for a Senior Service Manager to manage our Young People's services in Abingdon.

Managing a multi-disciplinary team, we will support you to deliver motivating, engaging, safe, high-quality accommodation-based support services to young people. You will be responsible for motivating your teams and ensuring they can bring their whole selves to work and deliver for our young people. You will manage our relationship with our commissioners and Local Authority partners, ensuring the service meets quarterly Key Performance Indicators. Our Senior Service Manager will build relationships with local community groups to offer the best possible outcomes to young people accessing our services.

The services you manage will be Ofsted Registered and if successful you will be a named Ofsted Registered Manager. You will have our full support in ensuring services meet Ofsted's quality standards and are services we are proud of.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience of managing or supervising a team that is working with young people within a similar role.
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire your team to achieve great outcomes.
  • Knowledge of homelessness and the impact on young people.
  • Experience of partnership working with specialist agencies such as mental health teams and the youth offending services.
  • A thorough understanding of Safeguarding practices for vulnerable people and managing the risks associated with Safeguarding.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
