Salary: £65k per annum (Plus Regular Car User Mileage Allowance - £79.09 per month)

Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich. 

Flexibility to work from a variety of places including our office at Gadbrook Park, Northwich and home (dependent on the job role and the needs of our customer, our organisation and our teams)

The Opportunity
Weaver Vale Housing Trust has an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career with a great company. We are looking for an experienced, driven, diligent, and friendly Development and Regeneration Manager to join our fantastic Development and Sales Team.

What Will You Do?
We are looking for a Development and Regeneration Manager to lead our Development Team as we continue to deliver new homes at pace across Cheshire. As part of the Trust’s Leadership Team, the Development and Regeneration Manager will play a crucial role in leading the successful delivery of our ambitious mixed tenure development programme. They will be responsible for the leadership and ongoing development of the Development team, to ensure a high performing, productive team which contributes positively towards the organisational culture. They will work collaboratively with 
colleagues across the whole of the organisation to ensure that development processes are embedded within and meet the needs of the organisation and our customers. 

Requirements For This Role*

  • Degree or equivalent qualification or professional experience
  • A minimum of 3 years experience of working within property development within a Registered Provider or other similar organisation
  •  End-to-end experience of all aspects of the development process including site finding, site acquisition, procurement, on site delivery and the management of defects
  •  Experience of managing and reporting on significant capital budgets
  •  Experience of producing high-quality written reports and performance information
  • Leading a high-performing, motivated team 
  •  In-depth knowledge of Homes England grant funding, including capital bids and grant funding requirements

Due to the nature of the role, a full current driving license and access to a car is essential. The role will also require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check.
