6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Here at Stonewater, we are looking for a Customer Partner to join our team and support customers who are displaced from their home. This could be due to an emergency situation, outstanding repairs or pest control problems.

As Customer Partner, you will take ownership of these customers and ensure they are provided with advice, regular communication, and payments, in line with our decant policy. These can be really difficult times for our customers and your priority is to work with colleagues across the business to ensure these customers can return home as quickly as possible. There may also be occasions where the customer doesn’t have to leave their home but that they are disturbed due to the level of works going on in their property.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven Housing / Community Development experience.
  • Have a strong customer focus.
  • Be sensitive to the needs of customers.
  • Have high level communication skills, demonstrating an ability to positively influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Be experienced in partnership working to meet the needs of customers.
  • Be able to think ‘beyond process’ to find innovative solutions for customers.

This role is predominantly home based but we will need you to hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travel as the role may involve site visits.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
