Executive Director of Homes

£115,000 plus excellent benefits package including £7,000 car allowance and Local Government Pension Scheme

Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home when they need it.  That is the driving force behind everything at Two Rivers Housing. Based in the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, we currently have more than 4,400 homes under management, supporting thousands of families in our communities. We recently secured £130 million in private investments to help us deliver on our purpose, and in a recent regulatory in-depth assessment, retained our G1/V1 status.

Committed to increasing the availability of affordable housing in our communities, in 2018, we pledged to build 1,000 new homes by 2028 – a target we are on course to hit.

We welcomed our new Chief Executive in late 2023, and this is an opportunity to be part of a new Executive team, driving forward positive cultural change, on a journey towards excellence.

As our new Executive Director of Homes, you will play a key strategic leadership role, ensuring that customers and communities are at the heart of everything we do, working with colleagues to create a cross-departmental focus to deliver the best outcome for our customers, embracing #twogether.  You will lead the Homes portfolio, which includes strategic asset management, asset investment, repairs and maintenance, building safety and landlord compliance, sustainability and our development programme. Furthermore, you will lead the strategic direction of our wholly-owned repairs and facilities management subsidiary, Centigen.

You will be an experienced property professional operating at the senior or executive leadership level, who understands the social housing sector, and who can create innovation, increasing our capacity to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers. You will appreciate the importance of listening, learning, supporting and challenging in equal measure, offering vision and clarity, with an unwavering focus on ensuring positive results.
