We are thrilled to be welcoming three new Board members to Beyond Housing in 2024, to join and help shape our conversations about the future of the organisation, and ensure that we remain well governed, resilient, and outward looking. We are seeking new Board members who share our passion for delivering quality housing and supporting customers and communities in our region. For one of the roles we are seeking candidates who bring senior development expertise from the social housing sector, but for the other two we are open minded about your sector background.

Links to our communities, lived experience of social housing, and professional experience gained in any area would all be valued. While a local connection to the areas we serve would be ideal, you may alternatively have experience in nearby regions but importantly still bring an understanding of the kinds of challenges faced in Beyond Housing customers’ communities. This could be your first formal Board role.

You will also be a champion for our ethos that puts inclusion, customer focus and empathy, and service responsiveness at the heart of all we do. You’ll have a natural collaborative style that gets the best from colleagues, and your ability to provide focus, support, and challenge will be crucial.
