With over 30,000 customers and 15,000 homes, Beyond Housing is one of the largest housing associations in the Northeast, with a particular focus across the Redcar and Cleveland, and North Yorkshire areas.

We are excited to be seeking a new Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team in 2024. This is a critical role for us, and our new CFO will be joining us as we complete and commit to a new five-year strategy, meaning there will be considerable opportunity to influence how we plan to do things and to have direct strategic input as we look ahead to the next period of our evolution. We are looking to our new CFO to bring a vision for what a modern and effective finance function looks like, the skills to articulate that across the business, along with the honed leadership skills to work with our finance teams in the delivery of that vision. So, while technical financial knowledge will be essential, your ability to chart a course and bring colleagues with you, and to communicate and engage widely across the business including with our Board and Committees will be just as important.

You will bring finance experience in a senior leadership role, and while we expect it is likely that this will have been gained in a social housing setting, we are open to hearing from candidates whose experience is from other sectors and who can demonstrate how their experience will translate to our kind of business. You will be driven, as we are, to support our customers and communities to succeed and thrive and excited by the opportunity to make a difference.
