Job type: Fixed Term - 12 Months

Salary: £24,648  Per Annum 

Hours: Working hours are 8 hours per day ( Monday to Friday )

Location: Remote - national travel (on an adhoc basis) - Covering North England

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Candidates are required to have a full driving licence and access.

 

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.

Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed.  CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.   

Primary Purpose of the Role:

 

Due to the expansion of our support services, we are seeking an Induction Coordinator to join our practice development team. The Induction Coordinator will play a critical role in embedding new colleagues across the CAS-2 contract. Creating robust and effective induction plans, collaborating with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, and deputizing for Service Leads when necessary.

You will be responsible for monitoring the attendance and effectiveness of training programs, reporting on their success, and developing solutions to improve the induction process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with operational teams and managers to create personalized training plans for new colleagues.

·       Develop a unified approach to training and development across the contract.

·       Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of training plans.

·       Serve as a point of contact for new staff, providing support and resources as needed.

·       Report to the practice development manager and senior leadership on the effectiveness of training plans.

·       Collect feedback and develop solutions to address gaps in the induction program.

·       Liaise with Learning and Development colleagues to ensure a seamless experience for new starters.

·       Create and implement refresher courses for new and existing staff.

·       Identify and address training gaps outside of the induction process.

·       Write reports and make recommendations for service improvements.

·       Support managers in completing 3-monthly and 6-monthly sign-offs in line with the CAS-2 induction passport.

·       Participate in staff meetings, supervision meetings, training sessions, and appraisals.
