About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Rents & Service Charge Officers to join our team in Oldham on a 6-month fixed term contract, full time working 35 hours per week, hybrid working hours are between 8am-6pm.
As Rents and Service Charge Officer you will ensure that charges are raised and billed accurately and in line with policies and procedures, whilst achieving statutory deadlines. This is a newly created position to support with project work to review our repairs charges. You'll need to be a self-starter with an eye for detail, able to analyse data and liaise with colleagues across the organisation.
What we're looking for
We're a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll ideally have previous experience with working in a rents & service charge or finance environment, you'll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
You'll also be able to demonstrate the below essential skills and experience:
* Experience of reviewing and analysing financial information and reporting on results.
* Proven experience of providing excellent customer service.
* Proven experience of setting and reconciling rent and service charges.
* Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
* Good oral and written communications.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience of using Oracle Financial, MRI Qube or NEC or equivalent systems.
* Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
