Caredig, Director for Growth and Development
Swansea | £86,495 (potential market supplement)

Campbell Tickell are proud to be recruiting a Director for Growth and Development for Caredig.

Caredig are a non-profit registered social landlord (RSL) based in Swansea delivering high quality services to tenants. Established in 1975, managing over 2,900 affordable homes, we provide a wide range of housing solutions across the social housing landscape. For us it’s about people, homes and communities and as a values-based organisation we are highly regarded, making decisions that really matter!

We are currently seeking to recruit a visionary leader to join the executive team, who will collectively ensure the achievement of Caredig's vision. Working together with the CEO, Executive, and Leadership Team, you will work strategically with the Board and its committees, and engage with key stakeholders, development partners, and regulatory agencies, including the Welsh Government.

As the Director of Growth & Development, you will either be a member of a relevant professional body or possess a degree or equivalent qualification in construction, property, or development. This role, which might be your first executive appointment, provides a great opportunity to develop and spearhead the strategy for new development and growth, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives and effectively managing risk by balancing risk management and risk appetite. Your contributions will drive Caredig’s growth through the development of new homes and the identification of innovative and opportunistic areas for new business, ensuring we meet our customers' needs while providing value for money.

Striving to be a diverse and inclusive organisation, Caredig encourages applications from great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do but because it makes our organisation stronger.
