About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Asset Optimisation to join our Asset Management team in our Oldham Bower House office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
The overall purpose of the role is to develop and implement Guinness's asset and acquisition strategy based on detailed appraisal and analysis of asset performance. Lead on the implementation of systems to evaluate assets to maximise value for money and performance against service delivery targets.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- Proven experience of completing evaluations of assets and option appraisals to improve asset performance.
- Financially literate with experience of managing budgets and conducting/commissioning financial analysis.
- Previous experience of managing and motivating teams.
- A demonstrable understanding of property portfolio management and the scenarios in which assets may be sub-optimally utilised.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The personal impact and credibility to influence senior stakeholders and secure support for evidence based recommended actions.
- Awareness of methodologies for planning asset reinvestment, including collation and analysis of stock data.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
Desirable:
- Understanding and awareness of the RP sector, either through comparable roles or having worked as an adviser to RPs.
- Demonstrable understanding of the wider property market and opportunities available to RPs.
- Experience of managing dispersed staff.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Educated to Level 6 (degree or equivalent) in Construction, Real Estate or Finance or similar.
Desirable:
- Chartered member of CIOB.
- Chartered member of RICS.
