Executive Director – Housing and Customer Experience
Head Office – Dartford and travel to other office locations
Salary – Competitive
We’re a leading housing association driven by our purpose to open doors to better lives for our customers. We manage over 21,000 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership across Kent, Essex, Sussex and London, and we’re proud of the great homes and communities we’ve helped to build. Through our social value arm, we work within our communities to tackle isolation, improve employability and create thriving places in which people love to live. As one of the pioneers of shared ownership, we’ve also given thousands of households a boost into home ownership.
Our shared commitment and goals are shaped by our Corporate Strategy which sets out how we’ll deliver a great customer experience, create pride in our homes and places and grow our new homes and communities… all with a pioneering approach that puts customers at its heart.
We are now recruiting an Excutive Director Housing and Customer Experience. We are looking for an inspiring leader, someone with experience and a track record of delivering for customers in a social housing setting. We need a leader who will focus on getting the basics right; someone ambitious to deliver superior tenant satisfaction measures and embed continuous improvement. Keeping our customers happy and safe in their homes is a priority. Just as importantly, you’ll be able to inspire others and create an environment where our colleagues and communities can thrive.
There’s so much happening behind the scenes and it’s all powered by our people. Our colleagues work collaboratively to fulfil our social purpose and provide a truly customer-focused service. Our people's passion for Moat, the work we do and our friendly, open-door culture has earned us a spot as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 and we continue to make strides in developing our people and ensuring they love where they work.

Company
For fifty years we have sought to help people in housing need to have somewhere they can call home; somewhere they can be proud of. Our communities include people with varying tenures; we offer affordable homes for rent and we have a very strong focus on home ownership. For nearly three decades, we’ve developed homes for shared ownership to help people make their first move onto the property ladder. We encourage our shared owners to buy more equity in their homes to become leaseholders or freeholders, and we offer homes in supported and retirement living schemes for those with additional care needs.
Our ambition is to bring an end to housing need. We’re determined to continue developing new homes while using our strong policy focus to give a voice to our customers and always striving to improve the services that we offer.
As an accredited Investor in People we know that developing our employees is the key to advancing as a business and a service provider. That’s why we look to provide different ways for our people to grow within their roles and find the right career paths for them.
