Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week.
An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational leader to join our Housing Income and Support Services. The post will be responsible for leading a small team of staff dedicated to overseeing the ongoing delivery of improvements to our digital offer for tenants and staff alike.
The post holder will provide oversight and management for all activity relating to the re-procurement of all Housing Management Systems. This is an ongoing system and culture change project which will transform the way that the Housing function operates and the way that customers interact with Housing services.
The post holder will ensure that programmes are completed within agreed time scales and budget. The post holder will lead and co-ordinate the project teams; reporting to the Project Board, SMT, DLT and directly to the Project Sponsor, managing risks and issues in a proactive and timely manner.
You will have the energy and enthusiasm to drive sustained improvements in the digital offer and embed the culture of digital first across the Housing Service ensuring it aligned to the Council’s digital strategy.

This post is classed as 'politically restricted' under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (as amended). The full details of the restrictions are set out in the Statutory Instrument, but broadly the restrictions prohibit candidature from public elected office; holding office in a political party; as well as involvement in political activities such as canvassing or public speaking/writing.
Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
