Job Description
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Assistant to join our team in Oldham on a permanent, full-time basis. Our core working hours are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, offering hybrid working opportunities.
Our team have developed a brilliant lettings experience, making it easy for customers to do business with us by increasing our electronic communication and digital services. Our teams have a warm and friendly approach and work collectively and proactively to get things done quickly and efficiently for our customers. You will assist the team with managing Council Tax and Utility charges for our empty homes as well as general administration.
About you
This is a busy position and the ability to deal with lots of different tasks is essential along with experience of working to tight deadlines, good listening skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of the importance of communication – either by phone, email, text or letter – is also essential along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow agreed procedures.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative role.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and clear responses to routine customer enquiries - in writing, emails, or by telephone.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
