Board Member (x3) | Flexible Location

Campbell Tickell are proud to be recruiting for three Board Members at Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust.

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and Joseph Rowntree Foundation are intrinsically linked together as two organisations, but with complementary focuses. Established more than a century ago, the work of JRHT and JRF remains hugely relevant.

We are especially keen to ensure we have diverse voices and perspectives within our governance. Disabled people, young people and people from Black and minoritised ethnic groups are not fully represented. We all benefit when we have people with lived experience of social housing, hardship or social injustice for example, in positions to help make well-informed decisions. So, we hope that you are encouraged to look more closely at these opportunities.

We are looking for a collaborative person. You will be good at listening and contributing. We work across a much more challenging environment, so clarity of thought, resilience and creative thinking are all going to add considerable value to the governance of our organisations.

For two of the roles, we seek people who have a social housing sector background (either Executive or Board) with skills in finance for one role and skills in development/strategic asset management for the other.

The third role is for someone who has experience in developing frameworks and activities for delivering public/ service user/community engagement and involvement.

For any of the roles, if you can also offer experience of collaborative strategy development that will be especially welcome.
