About the role
We are looking for our Lead Financial Accountant to contribute towards our growth aspirations by supporting the Chief Financial Accountant ensuring that statutory financial accounting is complete and effective, and our practices maximise PCH’s financial position. In this role you will you ensure that the day-to-day financial accounting activities of the association are effectively and legally carried out. The role needs someone with strong technical accounting, knowledge and skills, and the drive and energy to take us where we want to be, whilst ensuring we remain fully compliant. To be considered for this crucial role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience of working in a Accountancy Environment and are a full qualified member of CCAB Accountancy Body.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
- Do you have experience of preparing Statutory Financial Statements and VAT Returns?
- Do have significant experience of Maintaining Complex Asset Registers and Balance Sheet Controls?
- Have you ever prepared Management Accounts?
- Are you a fully qualified CCAB Accountant with significant post qualification experience?
- Do you have a good understanding of current and emerging Accounting Standards?
- Have you had experience of managing and motivating team? If so the Chief Financial Accountant role at PCH might be just for you.
