The vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for an interim Senior Repairs Manager to join our team in West London on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for in-house DLO and contractor delivery of the day-to-day repairs, M&E servicing, and reactive works.
 

As Senior Repairs Manager you will be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the service and driving performance to achieve or exceed performance targets, whilst ensuring the highest standard of customer satisfaction, health & safety and technical standards.

 

You will be responsible for line management of 5 direct reports and approximately 32 in direct reports. Remaining commercially focused at all times to avoid overspend and drive quality through focused performance management and KPI targets. on materials, agency staff, and sub-contractor use.


What we’re looking for
We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will be experienced Senior Repairs Manager with exceptional relationship building skills and strong customer focus and understanding. You will also be able to demonstrate the below essential skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in managing and delivering day to day and M&E reactive repairs along with compliance service delivery programs
  • Extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of repairs techniques
  • Understanding of disrepair legislation.
  • Detailed Knowledge and understanding of pre- and post- inspection processes, building pathology and repairs techniques
  • Detailed Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities in relation to construction and Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of supply chain contract management to drive quality and VFM
  • A good understanding of Fitness for Human Habitation Act 2018, and Landlord & tenant Act 1985 – Section 11
  • Confident using full Office 365 suite
  • Strong manager and role model
