Chair of Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) Homelessness Partnership Delivery Board
Salary details: Up to £8,000pa
Part Time
The BCP Homelessness Partnership is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to chair our new Partnership Delivery Board. As chair you will play a critical role in overseeing our strategic delivery plan and represent the Board at a new Strategic Coalition. Comprising of stakeholders from the public, private, voluntary, community sector your role will involve ensuring effective collaboration and partnership is in place at board level, ensuring the voice of those with lived experience is embedded within delivery objections of our co-produced Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy. You will represent the interests of the partnership at both local and national level, driving positive change and influence in pursuit of our overarching vision:
To end homelessness in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole by ensuring everyone has a safe place they can call home.
Homelessness Partnership BCP
The Homelessness Partnership BCP brings together a group of more than 50 committed partners to work together to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Since our formation in 2019, the Homelessness Partnership BCP have been working to bring hope to people in crisis and helping to transform their lives for the better. Through collaboration, early intervention initiatives are successfully preventing people from falling into homelessness, while helping those who have experienced the trauma of homelessness and rough sleeping to rebuild their lives in safe accommodation.
Embedded in our work we are delivering Homewards: launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. This transformative five-year, locally led programme will aim to demonstrate that together it’s possible to end homelessness – making it rare, brief and unrepeated.
For an informal chat and to find out more information about this role, please do not hesitate to contact Ben Tomlin, Head of Strategic Housing & Partnerships, BCP Council by email ben.tomlin@bcpcouncil.gov.uk
Interviews will be held week beginning 25th November 2024.
