Cottsway is a registered housing provider working in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire. We own and manage over 5,800 homes ranging from low rise flats and bungalows to family homes, for rent and Low-Cost Home Ownership (LCHO) and have an ambition to grow to 6,000 homes by 2026. We are in a strong, robust financial position and have strong performance on our Tenant Satisfaction Measures and other KPI’s.  Our financial stability, forward-thinking and creativity enable us to rise to the challenge of making a real difference to the lives of the people we serve and continue investing in our homes, making sure they are safe and well maintained.

We have a great opportunity for a customer focused individual with the right experience and skills to join us as our Head of Assets. You will be responsible for the delivery of the Homes Strategy including leading on landlords’ compliance and decarbonisation, ensuring all regulatory, statutory and landlord’s obligations are met.  This will be done through effective identification and implementation of the 30-year maintenance programme, opportunities for wider regeneration projects, asset disposals and redevelopment, as well as developing and implementing the decarbonisation strategy for our homes.

The housing sector continues to go through significant change and delivering in the context of regulation, reporting, and customer engagement is extremely demanding but equally rewarding, if you think you are up for the challenge, we want to hear from you. In return we offer competitive salaries that are benchmarked each year to ensure they remain competitive, offer a good range of benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contributions.

To be successful you will be strong leader, who is customer focussed and collaborative, have significant senior management experience in the Housing sector and substantial experience of managing assets, with a proven track record of delivering long term investment programmes.

A full driving licence with use of a vehicle is essential and a DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.

For an informal chat about the role please contact Sue Lakin, Deputy CEO on 07554 413867.

Company

We have recently received an A2 rating from Moody’s, we have a Governance 1 and Viability 1 rating from our regulator and have funding in place to deliver an ambitious programme of at least 750 over the next 5 years.
