At Grand Union Housing Group, we’re seeking a skilled Residential Lettings Officer to manage our marketing and housing services. In this key role, you’ll oversee our market, intermediate market rent, and Private Sector Leasing portfolios, ensuring quality service and effective property management. What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget. 

  • Create and implement effective lettings and promotional plans to generate timely income. 

  • Ensure high-quality, customer-focused services across all offerings under the Grand Union Living brand. 

  • Act as a deputy for the Commercial Manager as needed. 

  • Manage and support the Residential Lettings Assistant in their responsibilities. 

  • Collaborate with New Homes Coordinators for back-office administration related to lettings activities. 

  • Lead and motivate the wider team to deliver successful market rent activities. 

  • Provide necessary reporting systems and ensure adherence to Grand Union’s policies. 

  • Maximize the use of IT systems for improved efficiency. 

  • Stay informed about relevant legislation and best practices in residential lettings. 

  • Contribute to the development of the Department’s budgets. 

  

What we’re looking for 

 

  • Experience in delivering residential lettings projects. 

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management and negotiation skills. 

  • Proficient in report writing, presentations, and using MS Office (Word, Excel) and specialized software. 

  • Background in residential lettings and property promotion in competitive markets. 

  • Team management experience to support customer service and diverse tenures. 

  • At least two years in property management with knowledge of tenancy laws and enforcement.

We do not provide visa sponsorship; you must be eligible to work in the UK. You must reside in the UK for the duration of your employment and provide Right to Work evidence. 

  

A full driving license is essential for this role.
