About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid working opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the ER & Change Manager, you will collaborate closely with Senior HR Managers, Operational Managers, and colleagues to provide expert HR advice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling a full range of HR issues, including complex ER cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and Employment Tribunal cases.
- Delivering change management projects, including organisational restructures, redundancies, and TUPE.
- Partnering with business areas to deliver high quality advice on ER and HR change management.
- Acting as an HR policy champion for the HR Advisory Service, ensuring employees are treated fairly, with respect and dignity.

- Experience working in a large organisation and using a case management system to handle a busy and varied workload.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and the ability to provide practical advice while managing risk.
- Experience providing high-quality HR advice and guidance in complex situations.
- Experience in change management and supporting change initiatives.
- The ability to effectively challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data and drive evidence-based initiatives to effectively address ER issues.
- A passion for continuous improvement and willingness to take ownership of activities.
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desirable:
- Experience of multi-site and multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience of working in the Housing Sector.
Essential Qualifications
- CIPD qualified to level 7.
Interview process: 1st stage interviews & a presentation task will be completed via MS Teams, on the week commencing Monday 25th November 2024.
