Clarion Housing Group is the largest not for profit social landlord in the country, providing affordable homes and services to over 350,000 people across England. Our mission is to transform lives and communities by delivering high-quality, sustainable housing and exceptional customer service.
In the Summer of 2023, we embarked on our 'Connect' programme to review the way we work to improve our homes and services and meet the evolving needs of our residents.
Our transformation programme will build an organisation fit for the future and set us up to deliver our mission: to provide and maintain homes for those that need them most.
We're looking at every aspect of our organisation to deliver an improved experience for everyone who lives in our homes. We're focused on improved housing management, housing people more quickly, improving our handling of customer enquiries, and ensuring frontline workers are more visible.
We're also reviewing how we're structured to make sure we have the right resource and the right skills in the right part of our organisation.
We're looking for a social housing Regeneration expert to be the next strategic and operational leader of our successful customer facing Housing Regeneration team. This team works alongside our Asset Management and Development teams to identify, scope, design and deliver award winning regeneration schemes. You'll design and deliver a strategy for how we communicate with regeneration customers throughout the regeneration process and ensure teams are working to the highest standards of customer service.
Reporting to our Director of Housing, you'll be responsible for leading a team of customer facing regeneration professionals across the country, ensuring that customers are fully engaged with the regeneration process on all projects, from initial design to formal consultation and stakeholder management, including securing community support for regeneration, representing customers in planning and design decisions and supporting customers once they move into their new homes. As such, you and your team are expected to work outside of core working hours to deliver services to customers at times and places that suits them.
Your teams will ensure local stakeholder buy-in to regeneration projects, and support residents through the regeneration process, working with colleagues to deliver a successful regeneration project for our customers.
We'll be looking to you to deliver vacant possession of homes on regeneration sites so you will need to have a high degree of technical knowledge in Compulsory Purchase Orders, Demolition Notices, Resident Ballots, RTB home purchases, and Equality Impact Assessments, alongside strong budget building and management skills and the ability to deliver compelling stakeholder presentations.
Your ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders will be key so you will need to be able to write succinct Project Group updates and providing updates on your schemes and keep stakeholders updated on progress or any material changes to plans.
Most importantly, you'll have a passion for delivering high quality social housing and customer service, and an ability to develop high performing teams that share your passion and vision.
If you're an experienced, senior leader from the Housing Regeneration sector, with a track record of managing and leading consistently high-quality customer service standards, then we want to have you on our team. You can review the full role profile here or please visit our website.
Salaries are just the starting point. Here at Clarion we're dedicated to rewarding hard work and commitment, and providing benefits that support you and your lifestyle - dive in and find out more here or please visit our website.
