The vacancy
About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Management Team Assistant to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will support the Customer and Corporate Services teams, providing proactive support with administration, diary management, project work and other general office tasks. You will be a key team player who is flexible, adaptable and is enthusiastic to learn about our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular admin support including updating reports, sending emails and diary management
- Produce PowerPoint updates, excel spreadsheets and word documents as required
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and offer a high level of customer focused service to all
- Process PO’s and invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- File any relevant correspondence
- Take a proactive approach to reviewing/updating processes where necessary
- To support other administrative support areas as needed
What we’re looking for
We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will be an experienced administrator/assistant and must also be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
- Enthusiastic and keen to take on new skills and responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Ability to understand and develop processes and ways of working to improve
- efficiency
- Ability to manage diaries and arrange meetings effectively
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion where required
- Excellent organization and general admin skills
- Strong team player with a flexible approach
