Job Description
About the role
We have a new or opportunity for a Repairs Service Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes on a full time, permanent basis.
You will lead a team of repair technicians to deliver an exceptional responsive repairs service to our customers in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for managing a team of Repair Technicians, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard, in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for
We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be an experienced Property Maintenance Manager, but you will also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our customer’s homes are safe and maintained to high standard.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
Essential:
- Up to date knowledge of build maintenance, Decent Homes standards and safety legislation.
- Experience of leading, motivating and developing operational teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of housing sector best practice and relevant legislation.
- Experience of successfully delivering an excellent customer focussed repair service.
- Repairs of repairs management information systems.
Desirable:
- Experience of stock condition software/handheld devices.
- Experience of working as part of a management team delivering front line services.
- Experience of change management
- Extensive knowledge of building maintenance technical operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification – Trade NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
