This is a home-based role with extensive travel across England to meet commissioners, developers and housing providers.

About your role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our 5-year growth strategy, through the development of effective relationships with key stakeholders such as commissioners, developers, housing providers and local authorities, you will lead the expansion of new supported living and complex nursing accommodation.
You will assess feasibility of the local market, identifying competitors and future customer demand, delivering a planned approach to effective business growth. With an understanding of funding streams you will lead on successful contract negotiations, providing innovative solutions. You will also work closely with the Finance team and other relevant internal departments to cost, plan, set up and hand over new services to our operations team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience of securing new business and growth in social care or relevant/related sector. Within supported living services is desirable.
- Have experience of tendering for new and existing business, leading a development function including tender writers and bidding processes.
- Be able to develop excellent relationships with a range of stakeholders for new and existing business development.
- Be able to set and manage budgets and interpret complex financial and performance data.
- Be experienced in a senior management role, including team management, to lead, develop and motivate a successful team.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills through tender submissions, strategic documents and presentations.
