Salary: £25,964 - £35,701 per annum

Location: Hybrid / Norwich, Reed House

Hours: 36 per week

Contract Type: 12 month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract

Do you have strong organisational skills, a commitment to customer service and experience of working in high volume transactional environment?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insurance Officer to join our Insurance team in Norwich. In a nutshell, an Insurance Officer will undertake the claims management process, minimising claims exposure, advising the business on claims liability and ensuring that the organisation adheres to all legal obligations.

You'll perform all tasks on a timely and accurate basis and in line with the agreed service level agreement, escalating with management where these may not be met in order that they can implement contingency plans where appropriate to maximise service delivery and maintain standards. Demonstrating an acute attention to detail and investigatory nature towards all claims processing, reconciliation and reporting duties, you'll ensure data is reviewed and discrepancies rectified on a timely basis.

With a proactive approach to all duties undertaken ensuring that any concerns raised from internal or external sources are satisfactorily resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible, you'll represent the team in a positive manner ensuring information is shared appropriately. Providing relevant training and guidance where needed you'll enable stakeholders to meet the requirements of the Insurance Team.

You must be a confident and an excellent communicator with some previous experience in a similar high volume transactional environment. An eye for detail and strong investigatory and administrative skills are essential.

If you have excellent IT skills specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook we want to hear from you!

No previous insurance specific experience is required as training will be provided.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Norwich. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least 1 day per week.
