Housing Services Coordinator
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Services Coordinator to join our team in London on an up to 12-month fixed term contract basis.
You will be responsible for customers within our Housing Portfolio, the post holder will be the point of escalation in the customer journey for new customers and internal stakeholders. The coordinator is responsible for the successful completion of the onboarding of the customer journey and the achievement of 90% Customer Satisfaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring data across the teams activity is updated on a daily basis and will require weekly reporting to the Customer Operations Manager across dashboards
What we’re looking for
We are a customer-focussed organisation, so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You will not only be an experienced Housing Services Coordinator, but you will also be passionate about customer experience, have a strong grasp of housing and property management and be expected to be a self-starter, capable of resolving problems with their own initiative. You will also be able to demonstrate the below essential skills and experience:
- Experience of the Social Housing Sector and delivery of Core Housing Services (including Repairs and Housing Management)
- Experience of working with vulnerable customers with additional support needs
- Understanding of repairs management including an understanding of health and safety, fire safety and other property standards legislation.
- Adept at using key applications and able to interrogate systems and understand data and insight and turn this into action.
- Self-Starter- able to perform within a pressurized environment.
- Understanding of housing law and its application within social housing, including experience of enforcement action
- Both excellent written communication skills for effective correspondence, report writing and statistical work and excellent verbal communication skills including assertiveness, listening, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable ability to make informed decisions when assisting and supporting officers in dealing with complex or challenging cases
- Ability to demonstrate Value for Money
- Demonstrable results of working across directorates and external organisations, local authorities and other third parties to deliver customer focused outcomes.
