Job Details

Asset Compliance and Data Officer
Location: Burngreave, Sheffield
Hours: 35 (full time)
Term: Permanent
Salary: £35,168

The Asset Compliance and Data Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring that our residents can trust their home to be safe and well-maintained. This means being on top of all the essential health and safety requirements for landlords, including lifts, gas, electricity, asbestos, legionella, fire safety, and damp, mould and condensation.

Equally important is maintaining accurate, high-quality data about our properties. With this solid foundation, we can ensure we're doing the right thing at the right time, providing residents with the greatest value for their rent, and keeping their homes safe and secure.

About You
If you're detail-oriented, passionate about safety, and ready to make a real impact, this role is for you! You’ll get to work with a committed, focused and fun team who show us the true value of teamwork every day!

We are keen to hear from people preferably with all the qualifications, or if not, having strong experience in one or more areas of Asset Health and Safety management and compliance, and a willingness to work towards becoming qualified in the short-term.

For an informal discussion about this role please contact Sally Steade, Head of Asset Management on 0114 228 8100.

About us
Arches Housing is a community-based Housing Association providing more than 1,400 affordable homes in Sheffield and Rotherham.

We were formed in 1975 to make old houses into quality homes and to stop the richly diverse communities of North Sheffield being displaced and broken up.  Although we have grown and now serve communities across Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield, we are very proud to still be based in the heart of the community our founders cared about so deeply.

Our culture is unique. We are Investors in People Gold, and according to our latest staff survey, 91% of respondents thought Arches was a great place to work! We take accessibility seriously, and have an agile and flexible way of working and thinking that means we focus on outcomes for residents, and not bums on seats!

Following a refocus of our Operations department we are excited to complete the team so that we can take that next step forward to even better services for our residents.

Kay Dates and information
Closing Date: 27th January – 12 noon.
Interview Dates: 5th and 6th February
Interview format: Traditional panel interview at our offices in Sheffield, together with an occupational test.
