- Design and implement a comprehensive hospitality service that meets the needs of villagers, their guests, and other customers.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality service across all areas, including food and beverage, events, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the Head of Community Services to align hospitality operations with the Trust’s strategic goals.
- Manage the financial planning and budgeting for hospitality services, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Oversee health, safety, and hygiene in kitchens, social spaces, and other hospitality areas.
- Manage the hospitality team, including recruitment, training, and development of staff, bank staff, and volunteers.
- Hold a personal license for the sale of alcohol and serve as the nominated premises supervisor for the Trust.
- Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders to ensure the services provided meet the needs and expectations of the community.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally in a community-focused or residential environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams, including volunteers and bank staff.
- Excellent financial planning and budget management skills.
- A personal license for the sale of alcohol and experience managing licensed premises.
- Exceptional customer focus with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the evolving needs of the community.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in hospitality environments.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Opportunity to make a significant impact on the community and improve the lives of residents.
- Supportive, collaborative work environment with opportunities for career growth and development.
- A chance to be at the forefront of designing and delivering hospitality services that support Whiteley Village’s mission.
